Have you ever seen “Profile downloaded, Please go to the settings app to install it” For like a web app or something. Well, That’s a profile, and with Apple configurator 2, It’s pretty easy to make a profile, I will walk you through how to make and upload a profile to a website.
How to Make A Profile
You will need:
- A mac
- Apple Configurator 2 (you can get it here)
- A website or email address
First, open Apple Configurator 2 and click File in the corner. Now click Open New File. Then, name the profile. After you name the profile, go to a Payload, something like a web clip should work. To do this, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the sidebar on the left. Go and click Add. Once you do that. Insert an icon, Make a name for it. Then save it.
How to Deploy your Profile
Method 1: Mail
The first method is to send it via mail. It’s simple. open the mail app and attach the file.
Method 2: Website
Go to your website’s editor. Add a file in a button. It works just like that
